I usually use my emotions for writing fuel. For example, if I’m really sad and upset and crying it usually makes me want to write… likewise if I’ve had a great day, I want to use all of that positive energy as inspiration. But it’s definitely a form of escape!

I use both to cope for different reasons. Writing channels the bad feelings. Drawing distracts me from them. All depends on whether I feel like working on my novel or not.

I can do both, but writing I think is easier to express how I feel? Like, when I draw when I’m upset, I always get distracted and the feeling is always bugging me when I draw. When I’m writing, I feel I can get more emotionally invested in it? Idk.
