I’ve always believed ghosts ever since I got attacked by one and it left a scar, but at the same time I have always tried to stay away from them. I always thought it was from fear, anyway My name is Killian Dorn, I’m 13 years old. I have dark brown hair and mahognany colored eyes. I never hurt anything on purpose, I’m a very peaceful person. Well that’s everything about me, but sometimes I want life to be a little different. I love my life and all, but it’s always the same everyday. I always wished something amazing would change my life, but it nver happened until that day.

It was 7th hour at school and hot as hell in the classroom, I was doodling like I usually did on my corrected assignment, I heard the door open so I looked up from my doodle to see the principal at the door talking to my teacher. I tried not to star, so I just forced myself to continue with my doodle.Then I heard my teacher say “Killian, come here and grab your things too.”I’m thinking “Oh No, I’m getting expelled or suspened or something.

When I got into the office I saw Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin sitting in a few chairs. So many things were going through my head all at the same time I got a little dizzy. So I sat down, not knowing what was going to happen. Then all of a sudden Zak asks “Are you Killian Dorn?” I replied “Yes, I am. Why?”“Well we wanted to invite you to help with the rest of our lockdowns” Nick said “So, do you?” “I… Uh…Yeah of course!” I replied happily. Well Then, We have to get to our plane or we’ll miss it.” said Aaron.

While we were walking toward their van, I asked “Don’t I have to pack my things?” “Oh don’t worry, We got some things for you” replied Zak “Yay for me.” I said kinda nervously “Why so gloomy?” Aaron asked. “It’s just that I had a huge report due today and I left at my house.” I said. “Again, Don’t worry, we got the school to get rid of all your assignments until your back.” Zak told me “Cool!” I said super happily. “So where are we going?” I asked. We’re going to the Bird Cage theatre.” said Nick. “Again?” I asked. “Yeah, we’re going to go some places we’ve gone to before and use you to bring out the evil spirits.” said Zak and Nick “Why me? That’s Aaron’s job.” I said back.” I know, that’s why I’m laughing.” Aaron said between laughs. We’re using you, because your a girl and Aaron’s not.” Nick said nicely trying to persuade me to do it.

“Anyway we have to get out of the van and onto our plane.” Said Nick “Cool, but one thing, who am I sitting next to?” I asked “Me” said Zak. “Oh, OK.” I said kinda anxiously. “So you following me, come on.” He said as he walked away. “Hey! Wait up!” I semi-shouted towards him. “Ugh, Another lockdown is on the way.” Said Aaron “At least I’m not the bait anymore.”Oh quit it.” Nick said to Aaron.”Just wait til the lockdown to see how she acts.” Nick told him.

When Me and Zak got to our seats, he said i could have the window seat. I thanked him beacuse I don’t like being on planes, but the windows make me feel better. While I was listening to Nickelback on my iPod, I felt a little tap on my shoulder. I looked towards Zak and he said “Oh, good your awake.” Umm, we just got on the plane, how couls I be asleep already?” I asked him. He laughed a little and replied “Well Aaron can.” Yeah, but that’s Aaron.” I said.

On the plane everything looked so small, but some things looked so pretty. “It’s so pretty from up here.”I murmured to myself. I loved earth’s wonders and everything on this planet. I turned to see Zak half-asleep. I smiled to myself and thought to myself “I never thought that this would happen to me of all people.”

When the plane landed, i thought I heard a gunshot, but I thought “no, it’s probably some kid’s game.” Then I heard another few shots, the next one hit my arm and I screamed in pain. I was thinking that I had to get out of here. I noticed I was wearing my sandals and kicked one off, and it hit the gunman perfectly in the face. He was stunned long enough to at least knock him out with his gun. “Now that he’s down i got to get this gunshot wound taken care of.” As I held my wound tightly I ran out of the plane trying to kind someone to take care of my wound. I found Zak, Nick, and Aaron and as soon as they saw me holding my bloodied arm. Thay all asked “What happened!?” “You didn’t hear the gunshots?” I cringed slightly from the wound. “We have to get her taken care of!” Aaron semi-shouted. Everyone looked at him as if saying no duh!

When i got stabilized Zak, Nick and Aaron were allowed to come in and see me. The doctor said I had minor Lead Poisoning, but I would be able to be out and about in a couple hours.”Well, Sorry about getting you into this.” Zak said apologetically. It’s fine. A life without risk is a life not to be lived. You guys get a couple interviews done and I’ll call you guys when I can meet you guys outside of the hospital.” I told the guys. “OK, so see you in a couple hours.” Nick said. “Oh, and hey, don’t be riding the horses without me!”
